Lincolnaire Chorus
Women's chorus singing 4- part barbershop harmony and members of Sweet Adelines International. We are members of Sweet Adelines International.
The Lincolnaire Chorus is a group of women who sing 4-part barbershop harmony.
Our Director, Karen Randall, is in attendance (pictured near top left-ish, yellow blouse) at SAIโs DVLS. We know she is going to return with great ideas and insight! Thank you, ! Have fun, Karen! ๐ถ๐ฉท๐ถ
Look at this great group of directors getting ready to learn at DVLS! ๐ถ๐๐คฉ They are all directors of small and midsize choruses who received scholarships to attend DVLS thanks to our generous donors.
It is with great sadness that the members of the Lincolnaire Chorus announce the passing of our beloved bass, section leader, and friend, Bette Karre.
She was a devoted Sweet Adelines member for over 43 years. A welcoming presence on the risers, caring, supportive, and always willing to make a practice tape for the newer members in the section.
Bette leaves a legacy of music in our chorus as the mother of our Director, Karen Randall, and baritone, Linda Larson. Also grandma to tenor, Angeline Randall.
She was passionate about music - in both chorus and with many quartets over the years - and we shall miss her voice, and her friendship, so very much.
