Lincoln’s first voluntary mental health center to open this winter In a matter of months the Capital City will be seeing a first of it’s kind resource -- a Voluntary Crisis Response Center.
Did you know that despite common misconceptions, sc**zophrenia is not synonymous with 'split personality'? In fact, 'sc**zo' means 'split' in Greek, but it refers to a 'split' between reality and perception, not multiple personalities.
Stigma remains a significant barrier: Despite advances in understanding and treatment, the stigma surrounding sc**zophrenia persists. This stigma can lead to discrimination, social isolation, and reluctance to seek help. Increasing awareness, challenging stereotypes, and promoting empathy are crucial steps in reducing stigma and supporting individuals living with sc**zophrenia.
Let's break down stereotypes and promote accurate understanding this Mental Health Awareness Month.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, let's talk about sc**zoaffective disorder. Did you know it's estimated to affect around 0.3% of the population?
Schizoaffective disorder combines symptoms of sc**zophrenia, such as hallucinations or delusions, with mood disorder symptoms, such as depression or mania.
It's a complex condition that requires understanding and support. Let's promote awareness, reduce stigma, and offer compassion to those navigating sc**zoaffective disorder.

Today is World Mental Health Day! The overall objective of this day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. The theme this year is, “Make mental health & well-being for all a global priority.” We fully support that objective, and will continue to do our part to promote that endeavor.

PM Nursing (LPN or RN). Open shifts include PM Sunday. On Call needed as well.
Community Support Worker(s). Generally 8-5 Monday - Friday.
Day Program Direct Care Staff. Generally 8-5 Monday - Friday.
Direct Care all shifts in Residential Programs Secure and non Secure.
645am-315pm - First Shift
300pm -1115pm - Second shift
1100pm - 700am - Third Shift
Full time and Part time available in all shifts. Shifts and days are set. Looking for on-call for all shifts as well.
Mental Health Counselor/ Therapist/ SocialWorkers- LIMHP LICSW LMHP PLMHP
Residential
Full Time, some afternoons may be required.
