PRAYER FOR 2024 SCHOOL YEAR
Lord, I pray that You will remind my children daily that Your love for them is everlasting (Psalm 103:17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,).
Cultivate a grateful heart within them (Psalm 118:28 You are my God, and I will give thanks to you;
you are my God; I will extol you).
Help them speak the truth to others and to themselves (Ephesians 4:25 25 Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.)
Fill them with joy and peace (Romans 15:13 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.)
Make them a blessing to everyone they meet (1 Peter 3:9 9 Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.)
Help them to listen to Your Word and do what it says (Luke 11:28 28 But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”).
May they never walk away from You; draw their hearts closer so You will always be near them (James 4:8 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded).
