We're delighted to share that Upstream Pillars With Purpose, our charity foundation, has granted $1,500 to Just Because United, Inc. This donation is part of our ongoing commitment to give a helping hand to those who need it!
Just Because United Inc. was founded in 2019 to recognize people in the community who feel left out or unseen by extending kindness and encouragement with the hope of bringing joy. JBU provides backpacks and school supplies to local schools to distribute to students in need, as well as gifts for children during the holiday season.
Thank you, our clinic in Zebulon, Georgia, for their efforts in supporting this local charity!

Nearly 9 in 10 people will experience foot pain at some point. Without proper treatment, pain can impact function and mobility. Here are some tips to ease symptoms and make walking more accessible and less painful:
๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ก ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ: Take a break from activities that aggravate your foot or ankle. Opt for low-impact exercises like swimming, rowing, yoga, or tai chi.
๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐.๐.๐.๐.๐ & ๐.๐.๐.๐: Move beyond the R.I.C.E. protocol to the updated P.E.A.C.E. & L.O.V.E. approach for soft-tissue injuries, which avoids icing and anti-inflammatory meds to promote better tissue recovery.
๐๐๐ฅ๐-๐๐๐๐๐ซ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ก๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ฒ: If pain persists, consider physical therapy. Therapists use exercises, stretching, and manual therapy to increase range of motion, flexibility, and strength, helping relieve pain and stiffness.
If youโre feeling unsteady on your feet or have discomfort when you take a few steps, contact a clinic near you to schedule an evaluation for foot or ankle pain. https://bit.ly/3LoARMI

This initiative, in part, assists the families left behind, ensuring they receive the care and support they need. We are also proud to partner with organizations like Folds of Honor and Wreaths Across America - Official Page, who share our mission of honoring those have been lost and supporting these families.
As we reflect on the true meaning of this day, let us express our deepest gratitude to those who have given their all. Their legacy lives on in the hearts of their loved ones and in the freedom we cherish every day.

This grant was a great one to see to fruition during this season as Righteous Oaks works to serve our law enforcement during times of mental crises. Righteous Oaks works to deliver restoration for these individuals to return to duty on the front lines with clarity of mind and well-being.
