I decided to open my own private practice so I can customize treatments for patients, without having to deal with insurance. Without the rules, paperwork, and regulations of insurance, I can see people for what they need, when they need it. Together we will create a treatment plan, made specifically for you.

When a patient is told to take a break from their normal exercise routine…
The shoulder complex- it’s complex! There are articulations with the scapula (shoulder blade), clavicle, and humerus bone. Did you know there are 17 MUSCLES that attach to the shoulder blade alone??! Then you have nerves, ligaments, and positioning of joints that play a part in shoulder function, also. So when a patient comes in with “shoulder pain,” there is not one easy answer for the cause! Physical therapists are trained to help figure it out and get you feeling better. 👍

Diastasis recti- Where to begin?? Here are some foundational exercises and some progressions to strengthen your core safely and help close the gap!
Are the holidays stressing you out??! 🎄 A lot of people carry their stress in their upper traps. Cupping is a great technique for myofascial release in this area. If you are feeling tension, you could gift 🎁 yourself a PT session to reduce tightness. 😊

Winter is right around the corner! That usually means snow for Cache Valley! Here are some exercises to prepare and prevent injury for the coming days of shoveling snow.
Balance! It’s so important and is often under-appreciated! There’s multiple aspects of our bodies that play a role in balance. A PT can help you figure out the areas that are weak and help you improve. Balance training can help prevent falls, which is especially important in the elderly!
Here are some neck stretches to help with cervical tightness/stiffness.
If stretches aren’t cutting it and you still feel tight, you could benefit from some PT.
