If you don’t know Hannah Carnes, then let me give you a quick run down. She’s the funniest kid you will ever meet and has one of the best personalities. She can roll with the punches and no matter how hard of a time we give her, she takes it with a smile and laughs with us. She’s notorious at The REV for saying things completely off the wall and being dead serious while doing so. We even started a book called “Hannahisms” to document all of them.
Tonight at the Christmas Party, some of the leaders decided to surprise the kids with a special T-Shirt from the book. Each of them has a Hannahism on it. Comment which one you think is the funniest.
Forgot to bring this tonight. Keep him in prayer as Kleber lives his adult life.
Where all teenagers need to be on a Sunday morning.
Great day today! Congratulations Max.

Something to ponder…..
Did Adam and Eve have belly buttons?
Responses welcomed.
I wanted to share some thoughts with you…..
- Why don’t we stop talking about politics and politicians and what they do or have done, and start talking about Christ and what he did for all of us?
- Why don’t we stop condemning people for wearing/ not wearing masks and start praying for those who have been affected by COVID?
- Why don’t we try to take care of those in need, not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually, instead of only thinking of ourselves or what political party we are?
- Why don’t we try to love each other (all people), like Christ loves us instead of choosing what race, religion, sexual orientation, or demographic we are part of? We don’t have to agree with them. Sin has infiltrated our lives..
- Why can’t we seem to remember that sin is sin in God’s eyes?
- Why don’t we make choices based on our own understanding and wisdom, instead of sitting around waiting for the TV, media, famous people, or party to tell us what to believe?
- Let’s stop worrying about building up our likes on social media, and start back building the church!
- I, personally, am sick of seeing political posts, bickering comments, news, etc. politics changes with the times. God doesn’t! We need to get back to whole point of our existence and that is praising and glorifying God!
There has been so much division created by politics in the last few years, something NEEDS to be done! Even division in the church.
Our current situation can be compared to the days of Jesus’ time on Earth. Think of the “far-right” as the Pharisees. They were holier than thou, anyone not living up to their standards are not “good enough” for God. The “far-left” are the sadducees. They are the ones who deny Jesus and the resurrection. The ones that only believe that which was written in the law.
Which side is the correct side to be on? NEITHER! Which is why it didn’t work the first time.
I know this is a long post, I am not sorry. I hope that you will join me help bring our country back to God.
Please feel free to share this post if you want.

IMPORTANT VBS Announcement
It has become necessary that the remaining two nights of VBS (Wednesday and Thursday) be CANCELED.
This is not a situation we wanted to make, but we always choose to ‘err on the side of caution’ with regard to the health and well-being of our children and adults.
Please help us share this last minute decision with others.
Here is where to get an application for camp.

I can't wait to get going next week! Please come with the intention of becoming a closer group and ready to get this group built up!
Had a great celebration!
Thank you for braving the little bit of rain and not letting it ruin our celebration. We are firm believers in “go big or go home”. We’ve never had a bonfire that wasn’t close to this size and we may or may not have had the fire department called.
If you didn’t make it out, just know that we always have a seat for you.
Wednesdays @ 6 - games/hang out
@ 7 - service
I want to see 50 kids at next weeks bon fire event!! Make sure to be inviting.
Thankful the Lord gave us some sunshine to get out and play some castle ball with our friends from New Salem Baptist Youth Group, who came and did The YES! Summit with us today.
