Jr. Golf Camp ⛳ Day 2 📜 Word of the Day: ✨ RESPECT ✨

Every day during a week of summer camp, our Jr Golfers will be introduced to and participate in a short discussion about a particular Life Lesson of the day. We call it the "WORD OF THE DAY" And it sets the theme for each day of camp.

There are so many lessons this great sport can teach us about ourselves, our lives, and how we interact with others. It's our goal to bring these lessons to life for our students so they can learn to be happy, productive and kind as they grow up.

We're on a mission to use golf as a vehicle to help do our part building the next generation!

Each day in our golf camps We have a dedicated station for ETIQUETTE, CHARACTER and ACADEMICS related to the sport

Our coaches use this time to share and teach concepts such as:

✅ Respect, perseverance, patience

✅ Various clubs and their loft
✅ Basic rules of the game
✅ Course maintenance
✅ Different flags and their meaning

Does your junior player know what a fairway is? Test what they've been learning and ask them!

When in doubt, remember G.A.S.P. which is Grip, Aim, Stance, and Posture.

Irons have a shorter shaft and smaller clubheads than woods, used to send a ball towards the hole. Ask your player when they would use an iron!

A Mulligan is simply a second chance shot when a golfer has hit a poor shot that they would rather forget. However, a player can't take a mulligan during a competitive round of golf.
