Wishing everyone a Happy Summer Solstice! Yesterday I gonged with my sisters and today I ran another 4 miles with Merlin. Doing what I enjoy best with people and fur babies that I love.

Now it’s time for surf dates! If anyone wants to surf at Sunset Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, or San O hit me up! The rains caused too many surf date cancellations. Summer is here, time to play more in the water.

In my personal healing journey Reiki has helped me overcome problems with addiction, depression, anxiety, and fear. Today I can honestly say it’s been the cornerstone of my personal strength and self-healing. And now after 11 years of teaching and sharing Reiki I have much more confidence, a tool for sobriety, and am proudly seeing my Reiki Master students teach their own courses lovingly and successfully. The last time I saw my mother alive was Mother’s Day 2000….. 23 years ago. I was 23 at the time, so now I’ve doubled in age since her death, which her death anniversary is coming up Memorial Day weekend.

For anyone that knew my Mother, you might appreciate the caption I shared. She had a lot of fire 🔥🔥🔥 (an Aries with birthday on 4/12/50), and no one messed around with her.

I remember you, Mom.

Did you know that I’m in an all female gong band, called The Oracle Gongs? Our group was started by the lovely Chrissy . We’ve played various ceremonies together, have done recordings, and played live during an interactive film at a film festival in Long Beach.

Tonight I’m in gratitude for these beautiful beings! Sisterhood (especially with the gongs!) is soooo healing.

We had a beautiful weekend studying the Tibetan Reiki Mastery system! This system is a fusion of the traditional Reiki system and Tibetan shamanism, which is a western approach of sharing and teaching Reiki.

Day one was on zoom and students learned about the Tibetan Reiki symbols, how to teach virtually, and how to perform distance attunements in the Tibetan Reiki method.

Day 2 was in person, where students were coached on how to perform in person attunements and how to teach a complete Tibetan Reiki Mastery course.

Next weekend Trina and Jess will complete their training in the Usui Reiki Ryoho method, which is the traditional Japanese method of Reiki.

In my courses I honor both the Western (modern) and Eastern (traditional) approaches to teach Reiki. Once these students complete the Reiki Master course next weekend they will become dual Masters in two different methods! Tibetan Reiki and the Usui Reiki Ryoho method.

Are you ready to train or continue your Reiki journey? Reiki 1 course dates will be posted soon, Reiki 2 is coming up in Laguna Beach, Advanced Reiki will be in Long Beach in late May, and the next Reiki Mastery course will be in Long Beach starting in June!
