Today we take time to reflect on what we are thankful for. I can say I am thankful for the hardworking Men and Women that make up our Department Family. I am also graciously thankful for the continued support of our community and its citizens of ESD #3. “We are honored to serve” - Chief Jackson - Happy Thanksgiving 2023
Join Today ! We also have openings for our Cadet Program. All training provided. Contact or message for details.
Great day for training ! This morning we sharpened our skills with live fire training, both interior and flammable gas operations.
PSA: Department Administration has received information that a male in his mid 40s was going around in our district asking for donations for “gear” saying he needed the funds to pay for it. The Department is not currently conducting a fund raiser and hasn’t since June. We do have an annual “picture fund raiser” in the spring, but it is publicly announced and the company is easily identified. In addition, the Department provides all protective gear to its members paid for by JFD. We take these allegations very seriously and highly value the image of our department as well as safety of the community. Please report any suspicious activity to us at 903-663-2947. All “active” members are issued ID badges and must be present on them when performing official duties of the department.
- Chief Jackson
