Our God is not a God of disorder!

The Lord Answers Again

1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Put your full focus on God!

No matter how hard it gets-give all to me.

Prayer:
Father, have Your way with my life. You are my maker and guide, and I submit my life to Your skilled hands. Shape me according to Your design for me so that I may stand strong in the firing furnace and emerge revealing Your craftsmanship as You prepare me to do Your will. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Inspiration:
Words are powerful. They can pierce others with hate, contempt, judgment, and scorn. Or they can lift others up with encouragement, compassion, guidance, and understanding. God calls us to put away our reckless words that inflict wounds. Instead, He leads us to use our words wisely so that we may be agents of healing, love, and grace.

God dwells in us as a result of His Love. How does He dwell in us? Through His Spirit. We have accepted the Spirit of God to reside in us and this means that we are now subjected to his counsel and his guidance. We are not slaves to our selfish cravings or desires. We are now able rise above them and live according to the way of the Spirit.

Prayer:
O Lord, you came preaching the same message of repentance that John the Baptist preached. You cried out "Repent and believe the Gospel! " (Mark 1:15) And even today, the Spirit you sent is crying out that same message whenever the Biblical Gospel is preached. May we respond with continual repentance and growth in faith throughout our sojourn in this world. Amen.

Inspiration:
Man's body was formed from the dust, and to dust that body must someday return. But his spirit will live on, whether in a happy state or in a ruined one. God who gave us life holds our lives every moment in his hands. Considering how frail man is and how little control he has over so much that befalls him, it is a great wonder that most men walk in such pride and with little thought of God from day to day.

Prayer:
We come to you, Lord, honestly confessing that we are often tempted to go astray, that the world's sinful enticements still have too much pull on our hearts. But being your children, the desire of our "heart of hearts" is to refuse to consent to temptations and to please you. Help us to be men and women of virtue, possessing the moral fortitude (inner strength) needed to overcome the world. In Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer:
Dear God, you are a jealous god. When I seem to be directing my focus away from you and unto other idols, please lead me back to you. Help me to understand my need for forgiveness and a savior. Do not allow me to stray, Father. Forgive me for the times I did not obey your laws and for the times my sins separated me from you. I repent and ask that you renew my spirit and my mind. Extend your mercy, O Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.

Prayer:
Dear God, help me to be more focused on you than I am on myself. Do not let me fall into the trap of believing I can do things on my own and that I do not need you. You are all I need, O Lord. Your word tells me you are always near and that if I seek you, I will find you. Thank you for loving me enough to stay near. May I always place my faith in you rather than in my own abilities. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Inspiration:
It is wise to listen to your father and love your mother – there are exceptions to this, but generally it is wise. No matter how old you get, you can still respect and learn from your mother and father. It brings parents joy to instruct their children and give them advice. It makes them happy to hear from their kids no matter how long it's been since they lived at home. If you haven't spoken with your parents lately, and there's no good reason not to, you may consider giving them a call.

Prayer:
Father in Heaven, thank you for my parents, for the things I learned from them, and for the good things they did for me. Bless my parents. Draw their hearts to You, and let them live the remainder of their days for You. Help me to keep the wisdom I learned from them, and remind me of it in a time when I need it. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank you for providing a way for us. Thank you for sending Your Holy Spirit to us to live inside us. Baptism is beautiful. Thank you for allowing me to participate in and witness such a beautiful act. Getting to watch others become a part of the family of God is amazing. Help me to appreciate baptism more. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord my God and giver, my Creator. The sun shines in Your name, whilst the mountains rise up in Your honor. We sing your majesty here on earth as it is in Heaven, thankful are we to be surrounded by Your works, power and glory, and thankful are we to know you Lord, reflected within all that is beautiful. From the stars that burn above me, to the love for Your justice within me; Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah! Amen.

Make room for God and he will make room for you!

Dear God, I would like to take this time out to pray for my leaders. I pray for the leaders in the body of Christ, Lord I know that they often face challenges that are probably more than my own. Lord, I pray that as they carry out the work you set out for them to do, may they keep their eyes fixed on you. May they never be led astray, O Lord, and may they always take delight in you, O God. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer:
Almighty God, maker of both heaven and earth, mover of mountains, splitter of seas, you are the all-powerful and loving God that we do not deserve. I shall never forget what you have done for me, and I shall strive with every fiber of my being to love you with all my heart and with all my strength, as you have commanded. Amen.

Pray this Prayer:
Dear God, I ask that your love will guide me in times where I have been offended. May I never accommodate hatred in my heart, Lord. I pray that in every situation, I will be able to love as you do, so that peace can truly reign and lives can be changed. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

If tomorrow didn't belong to God- I would throw my towel in! Praise God for tomorrow!

Gratitude.....
In times of trouble or weaknesses when circumstances seem beyond our control, we pray. But when life is moving along smoothly and we have a handle on life it is easy to forget who God is and who we are. Scripture teaches us that everything comes from God, even our achievements. Have you ever thought of your resume as being God's work? 2 Corinthians 3:5 says not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves but our competence comes from God. Thank you Lord for clarification!
