With over two decades of ministry experience, Pastor Rod brings a passion for preaching, community outreach, and music. His deep faith and warm leadership are exactly what our church family needs as we step into this exciting new chapter together.

Join us for worship this Sunday, June 2, at Shepherd of the Valley! We're honored to welcome The Rev. Dr. R. Guy Erwin, Bishop Emeritus of the Southwest California Synod, as our guest preacher. Dr. Erwin, President of United Lutheran Seminary and the first openly gay and Native bishop in the ELCA, is back in California for the Southwest California Synod Assembly. Don't miss this special service!

In observance of Memorial Day, our church and preschool will be closed on Monday, May 27th. This day is dedicated to honoring and remembering the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We encourage our community to take this time to reflect, remember, and give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy. Normal activities and schedules will resume on Tuesday, May 28th.

Join us for a delightful evening of talent and creativity at our annual Spring Concert and Art Show! 🎨🎶 Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 25th, here at SOV Preschool - you won't want to miss it!

Here's what's in store:
5:00 p.m. Tadpoles, Ducklings, and Bumblebees will explore the Art Show in Founders Hall.

5:30 p.m. Get ready for the Spring Sing in the Chapel! All classes (except Tadpoles) will showcase their performances. Tadpoles will charm you with a special video presentation of their song and dance routine.

6:00 p.m. (Following the Spring Sing) Blossom, Butterfly, and Sunshine Classes will have their turn to enjoy the Art Show in Founders Hall.
