There are so many skincare products out there, so choosing the right ones for you can often feel overwhelming. Acne comes in many different forms. Inflamed and painful hormonal acne is different from the bumps caused by food-related congestion, which is different from congestion caused by not cleansing properly or using comodegenic products, and different again from fungal acne and blackheads. Let's talk about how to take care of the skin after a chemical peel. It's an aggressive treatment with several days of recovery time, and how well you follow your post-peel reginen has a direct impact on the results you're going to get. Here are some things that can help:

1️⃣ As you can't get your face wet for the first 48 hours after the Rejuvi lactic acid peel is applied, you may find it useful to have some handy.
2️⃣ The k cleanser and h skin healing gel are the only two products you can use on your face for the rest of the week – you can use the healing gel as often as you'd like to soothe the skin and help it feel better as it peels.
3️⃣ A loose-fitting and soft can be helpful for a bit of extra sun protection, and can also help you feel more comfortable as you go through the stages of the peel, as the skin will turn red and then brown before actually peeling. just make sure they don’t leave a mark on your skin.

A peel should never be the first stage of your treatment plan. Only when you've got the active acne under control, have prepped the skin with retinoids and your client is being thorough and consistent with their homecare regimen will their skin be ready for you to take their treatment to the next level.

It's just as important that they follow all your instructions for the days after their appointment, when the skin is actually peeling, to make sure they get the best results.

We all need to be wearing sunscreen every single day. This non-greasy and non-comedogenic sunblock contains healing zinc and soothing aloe vera to keep the skin protected and healthy. Its blendable, buildable color provides light coverage for most skin tones, and it also comes in an untinted version.

You always want your products to absorb into the deeper layers of your skin. While not every product is designed to be worked all the way in – occlusive moisturizers, for instance, ate designed to coat the outer layer of your skin with a protective film – if you notice that all your products are just sitting on the top of your skin and not absorbing when you massage them in, it can often mean your skin is surface dry.

A healthy skin is soft and supple, has a bounce to it, and absorbs your treatment products more readily. If your skin barrier is compromised, go back to basics with your regimen: cleanse with a gentle non-foaming cleanser, follow with a moisturizer to lock in hydration and use sun protection every single day. Lay off your actives for a couple of weeks and you should really notice the difference 🥰❤️

It’s so important to find a sun block that you feel good about wearing every single day. Avoid ones that clog your pores or burn your skin, and don’t rely on just a tinted moisturizer with SPF, as you have to use such a large amount of it to get adequate sun protection.

A dedicated sun block of at least SPF 40 is essential for keeping your skin protected. And a good physical block that contains zinc is a great choice because it’s so healing on the skin.
