💵Households would receive $600 for each adult and $600 for each dependent.
💵Workers would be eligible for a $300-a-week federal unemployment subsidy.
💵$25 billion of assistance to tenants in arrears on their rent.
💵$10 billion in grants for child-care providers and $250 million for the Head Start program.
💵$325 billion allotted to help small businesses.

💲September jobs gains confirm this labor market recovery is among the strongest and fastest in history.

📈The unemployment rate continued to fall in September, decreasing 0.5 percentage point (p.p.) to 7.9%.

👨‍🔧️EVERY private sector industry reported gains in employment in September with the largest gains in leisure and hospitality (+318,000), retail trade (+142,000), professional and business services (+89,000), transportation and warehousing (+74,000), and manufacturing (+66,000). The construction industry also added 26,000 jobs.

Today, jobs numbers exceeded expectations for the third month in a row. 1.8 million jobs were added to the U.S. economy in July - beating expectations by nearly 300,000 jobs - and unemployment dropped to 10.2%. It has now taken just three months to add 9.3 million jobs during the COVID-19 economic recovery, an encouraging sign for the great American comeback. Hiring back workers was a may by many employers.
