As part of the restoration of its expansive Plaza in Downtown L.A., The Music Center created Abernethy’s as a one-of-a-kind progressive dining experience. Abernethy’s features emerging chefs from throughout L.A. Chosen for their culinary talent and entrepreneurship, these chefs reflect the cultural diversity of Los Angeles County’s residents, cuisine, neighborhoods and businesses. Chef Shirley Chung of Ms Chi Cafe is the first emerging chef and will launch the restaurant; a new chef will transform the restaurant every quarter.
