Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and efficient manner
* Above all, a genuine love for food and hospitality
* Ability to remain calm in fast-paced, high-pressure situations,
* Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, daily specials, and product availability; communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
* Maximize sales by using menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques
* Maintain cleanliness of and service areas and ensure compliance with covid protocols
* Complete assigned duties within each shift, including daily cash handling close out procedures
* Accurately record and enter all food and beverage items into POS System
* A minimum 1 year of relevant experience
* Familiarity with Italian wine is a plus
* California Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe Certification

Sor Tino Restaurant is looking for a LINE COOK to join our team.

Requirements (but not limited to):
* 6 months – 1 year of experience, preferably in LA restaurants upscale casual;
* Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
* Flexible schedule: evenings, weekends and holidays;
* Ability to work and multitask in a high-volume environment;
* Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure;
* Ability to take direction and work in a team environment;
* Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen;
* California Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe Certification;
* Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day; Must be able to bend, stoop, and stretch frequently throughout the day; Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently; May be exposed to extreme temperatures (freezers and stoves-range burners) for short periods of time;
* Proper grooming and professional appearance and communications skill;
* Willingness to learn and grow.
