And here is Virgo the studio cat helping me to add more textural elements to my turmeric and nasturtium spinning petal.
Phew! This is a time consuming set of stitches. But fun! I’m working on a rendition of Yarrow- Achillea Millefolium
Still going.
I had to spend time doing some paperwork today, so I only got to my embroidery in the early evening. But I seem to be doing ok - getting faster as I go.
After a couple of tries, this is how I’m doing these leaves. Two different variegated flosses.
Beginning embroidery.
Thinking about embroidery for petal number 5. Samples shortly.
Final print with a stenciled leaf as well as the stamps. I’m getting excited about my petals now.
Stamping with my custom stamps.
Stamping tests for the next spinning petal. Huechera maxima and another leaf I can’t remember right now. Acrylic and flexible medium on h**p summer cloth. Next: color tests.
My friend Rhian is offering tarot readings.
A small set back today with my serger becoming misaligned somehow - but my sewing machine is doing fine. Working on this petal today with the flower transfers. Onward!
Preserved leaves stitched to avocado dyed fabric. These patches will be part of the turmeric dyed petal.
Here’s the first batch of turmeric h**p

I've moved my store back to Etsy. IggyJingles.com will go directly to my Etsy store from now on. I gave another store front a try for over two years - but it's costing me money that Etsy doesn't. My dolls look great over there - and I'm adding digital products periodically.
