Thinking of Giverny, Claude Monet’s home, atelier, gardens and water gardens
in Normandie. This place was his subject matter and the birthplace of Impressionism.
We were there late October without the crowds and it was bursting with color and flowers and beauty.

As a former food stylist, major eater, food and beauty lover, I was jolted by this photo of avocado, egg, and prosciutto tartines in Ina Garten’s new cookbook.

I love all kinds of pottery, the more rustic and primitive the better. Here are some Japanese pieces we just collected for Dos Gallos, including Bizen ware, which is often misshapen with uneven glazes. They rock.
