Fr. Peter was given a release from the GOC. He was accepted by ROCOR. The ROCOR Bishop was an auxiliary bishop (means he has no power). The auxiliary bishop was the scapegoat.
They say Fr. Peter wasn’t officially accepted. The GOC doesn’t want him back. So, Fr. Peter is in exile. Canonically he is with ROCOR, though.
SCOBA does not like Fr. Peter. No reason was given for the trick they pulled on him. They didn’t depose him. Remember Met. Joseph of Antioch America? They should have deposed him, but they let him retire. Isn’t that what the Roman Catholic Church got in trouble for doing? Moving/retiring pe*****le priests instead of deposing them.
