A very dear friend who has done an immeasurable amount for me over the years is in need of a miracle. Can everyone that loves comedy, star wars, pirates, game of thrones, improv, stand up, dad jokes, making things, helping people, or anything silly or goofy or nerdy please help me pray to whatever you pray to for my friend. He has so much life to live and so much love to give. We need him here please. He has created a lot of magic and built so much for many people. He needs some of our magic right now. Holy p**p I’ve wanted this to happen for YEARS! Come take a class with the inimitable Tallie Medel at the Clubhouse this Saturday !!

A three-hour class! Curious about trying clown and discarding the ego? Or do you just want to throw tennis balls and play with hats? This workshop cracks open our expression and vulnerability, tools indispensable to performers, through physical and playful games and solo exercises. It’s all the fun parts of acting class minus the pressure to be a “good actor.” Clown is anti-fascist and “the joy is subversive enough” (Jean Taylor). Dig that!

Tallie Medel (they/them/she/her) is an award-winning actor, interdisciplinary artist, and theater educator, leading classes and workshops at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Emerson College, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies at Harvard University.

Dearest showrunners, performers, students and teachers. The water has been shut off at the street because there was a main leak at the street. They can not turn the water back on until the repairs have been done. The repairs involve a permit from the city and cutting into the concrete and replacing a pipe. The landlord is dealing with this with his plumber which takes the timing somewhat out of my hands. I am pushing and trying to get this figured out as soon as humanly possible. I am so sorry for the inconvenience.

SEEKING - All ethnicities/ ages/looks of performers for a 1 day shoot in Mid - April. NON-UNION. PAID. Youtube Ad. Seeking expressive performers who can react to director specific actions without a script and able to hold poses (with assistance) for extended periods of time (maybe a minute or two, not like hours). GAME SHOW & ANNOUNCER CASTING
Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is seeking experienced talent to
host and facilitate live game shows presented onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest
class of ships, including the Norwegian PRIMA. These shows are on-stage adaptations
of popular game shows known to audiences all around the United States with
contestants chosen from the guest roster.
Contracts will become available throughout 2023 with the earliest starting in June.
Talent will have Theatrical Guest Entertainer status onboard. Rehearsals will take place
at the Creative Studios in Tampa, Florida before embarking on 4-5 month long contracts
at sea.
Single occupancy cabin provided.
$2,000/per week performance salary.
Transportation provided - to and from Tampa rehearsals and the vessel and then post
contract.
World-wide itineraries.
Seeking
HOSTS & ANNOUNCERS: The Hosts (think Wayne Brady, Drew Carey, Ellen types)
and Announcers (think of everyone from Don Pardo to Ed McMahon) are able to move
the show along, improvise, and engage with the contestants, live ship audience, the
show’s stage manager, models, and each other. The Host & Announcer is to provide an
experience that is entertaining not only to those participating in each game onstage but
also those audience members watching from the house. Announcer & Host roles will be
required to learn all game play rules during rehearsals and share information with
contestants as they navigate through each game. Knowledge and love for these classic
game shows is a plus. The ability to elevate each contestant into a star is a must.
Those with hosting, improv comedy and stage experience are strongly encouraged to
apply. Announcers will also understudy Hosts.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is inclusive in its casting. Hosts and Announcers can
be any age (18 & older) race, ethnicity, gender and body shape. Must be fluent in
English. Valid passport is necessary.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Highlight your hosting experience
- Indicate your improv training and stage experience
- Comedic background (tell us about your improv, sketch and stand-up experience

Dearest Clubhouse. We are temporarily mandating masks in the audience and in the lounge as of now, until things calm down a bit. I do not think we need to shut down at this moment, but please do wear a mask inside the building, as we do not know who in our community might be immunocompromised. I have received many emails asking that masks be brought back, and I think it is better for us to be safer than sorry-er. Please wear a mask and if you see someone without one, remind them that masks are once again required at the Clubhouse until further notice. Thank you!!
