If you plan to transfer, we highly suggest you attend our UCLA Center for Community Colleges Partnerships workshop. The program coordinator will be presenting on the program and will answer any of your questions. This program is an excellent opportunity to get prepared for transferring, have a higher chance of admission at a UC, and be eligible for special scholarships! The program is accepting applications till July 30th, 2021 @11:59 p.m.
The workshop will take place on Zoom this Thursday @ 1 p.m. We will provide the Zoom information as it gets closer. 😄

What is TRiO/SSS?
TRiO is a set of federally-funded college opportunity programs that motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds in their pursuit of a college degree. Over 850,000 low-income, first-generation students and students with disabilities — from sixth grade through college graduation — are served by more than 2,800 programs nationally. TRIO programs provide academic tutoring, academic counseling, financial guidance, and other supports necessary for education. We are the TRiO/ Student Support Services Program based in Los Angeles Mission College.
Eligibility for the TRiO/ SSS Program is based on the following criteria:
· Financial Need (Meet federally established low- income guidelines)
