Job Duties

• Responsible for serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner with a positive attitude.
• Remain attentive to guests and make them feel welcomed, comfortable, and important.
• General Responsibilities include making sure condiments are filled, performing preparation tasks, memorizing the menu, prices, specials, communicating with kitchen staff and knowing when certain items need replenishing, etc.
• Take food and drink orders from guests, delivering food items to assigned station, preparing side dishes such as toast and fruit, communicating specific customer needs with kitchen and bussers, maintaining a great dining experience, removing empty plates, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages, calculating customer bills, accepting payments.
• Performing basic tasks as needed or directed by supervisor/manager.
• Greet all guests warmly.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Work as a team with all restaurant staff.

Requirements
• One year experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Must be upbeat, outgoing, with a positive attitude.
• Must treat and serve guests with respect and diligence.
• Ability to maintain positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
