What message does it send to students about animals' lives when class "pets" get left in the classroom for emergency drills? What would you do during a real emergency? 🤔

Guinea pigs and other animals are living beings who deserve to live in places where their lives are not at risk. Keep them safe and teach students responsibility by getting a class plant instead! 🪴

Exciting News 📣 The CLASS Act just passed unanimously through the California Senate Education Committee! But we still need YOUR help, California residents! 🎉

WHY 👇
🐸 Teachers would be required to present sourcing and environmental concerns about animal dissection to students.

🐸 Teachers would be required to inform students of their right to choose a non-animal replacement.

🐸 Classrooms will become more inclusive and trauma-informed.

🐸 This will help to prevent the needless deaths of countless animals.

This bill is in partnership with changemakers Assembly member Ash Kalra, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and Social Compassion in Legislation!

Legislators need to hear that you're in favor of this important bill! Tap the link below to take action ✍️

Teach your students to be pals to pigeons! ✨ Pigeons are fascinating birds who are loyal to their loved ones, have impeccable memories, and can recognize their own reflection in a puddle or mirror. They're individuals who deserve respect and kindness—not to be chased or shouted at 💕

Taking your students to marine parks teaches them the wrong lesson 💔

It’s never okay to deprive animals of everything natural to them & exploit them for entertainment or "education." Choose humane field trips only!
