Join us for an exclusive film screening of When We Dancedโ€”a short film by Filipino-Irish American filmmaker Ryan Moore '04 on campus this Friday, October 20th!

The winner of the Best Short Film Award (Special Jury Award) at the 23rd Annual Beverly Hills Film Festival, When We Danced tells the touching story of a Filipino immigrant searching for a better life in America. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with Ryan Moore and cast members Darion Basco, Thel Bringas and Jace Izuno.

..that the USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association (USC APAA), originally called the Asian Pacific American Support Group, moved under the umbrella of the USC Alumni Association in 2001.

Since its foundation, the APAA has continued to support USC alumni of Asian Pacific origin/descent and helped to connect them with the university and one another. The group hosts many meaningful and relevant programs, many of which raise scholarship funds for current USC students.

Linda Yoon is a licensed therapist, social worker and founder of Yellow Chair Collective, and cofounder of Entwine Community. Lindaโ€™s work focuses on providing healing for Asian American identities through understanding of intergenerational trauma, racial trauma and immigrant stories. She has a special interest in destigmatizing the cultural implications of mental health stigma and bridging the gap of knowledge in the mental health field about the unique struggles of Asian American mental health.
