“Grace received a thorough exam & we discussed the subluxation in her lower spine contributing to her
having no tail sensation or a**l tone. She
overcompensates & is stiff in her neck & shoulders
We will be switching her to gabapentin to manage
her muscle soreness rather than the steroid she’s
been on the last 1.5 months as there seems to be no
improvement regarding inflammation. The doctor
also recommended Myos muscle supplement to help
improve the muscles in her hind quarters as she has
severe atrophy at this point. ❌💪

Grace’s first step to healing/management is to find
her pain perception. As of now she has no feeling in
her back legs due to her spinal trauma. It is unlikely
she will ever regain use of them. Still, we were given
many at-home exercises to try to stimulate the nerve
endings. We will also begin massages, and continue
with laser. 💆‍♀️

Grace received 28 acupuncture needles! She was
twitching so much with the sensation especially in
the area of her spinal lesion (where it is evident she
was assaulted). 🪡
