People have been asking about the recent theft at HB and wanted to include in our email:

Early in the morning at 3:45am, the restaurant was burglarized, the cash register and safe were ripped out. It’s crazy to watch someone use a pick axe to pry and hack away at the safe. Looks like a younger guy, wearing Jordan 4s (Phil would know!)

But we are ok, our staff is ok, we will get through these times. As a family we can only stand and be thankful, whether in struggle and hardship or in stability and security, that He is greater than all this.

Mother's Day is Coming Up

As we take the time to celebrate moms, consider coming to Honeybird for Sunday Brunch on May 12! We are introducing a couple of new menu items like Churro French Toast and HB Chilaquiles, and we will have a special, Spinach and Gruyere Quiche. Our Sunday hours are 10am-2pm Brunch, 2pm-7pm Regular Menu. Hope to see you there!

Come by and try our new BREAKFAST Menu! Monday-Friday, 8am-11am, try our delicious Breakfast Burrito with your choice of protein. People have been loving the Pastrami and Fried Chicken options! We also have bagels - from a local favorite, Brooklyn Bagels! Along with drip coffee and cold brew (from another local favorite, Copa Vida), we have you set for a great morning! Also, all these items are available during weekend brunch as well! Sat-Sun, 10am-2pm (regular menu starts after brunch).

Korean Pocha Night is Tomorrow!

Also, the Bashan Chefs are joining us again to prepare for this special event!

Come enjoy some pocha classics like tteokboki, odeng skewers, wagyu galbi skewers, and honey butter wings along with Korean beer, soju, and makgeoli cocktails!

New Hours, New Menu

We have some exciting changes coming to Honeybird, starting this weekend! Will begin Sunday, April 21, 10am.

We will be opening 7 days a week, also serving Breakfast Mon-Fri! We will also have some new LUNCH items.

From our Breakfast Burrito to Bagels, our new Tuna Sandwich and Grilled Pork Banh Mi Sandwich, and custom made drinks like Iced Yuzu Sparkler and Matcha Mojito, come by and try our new items!!

New Hours:
Mon-Fri: 8am to 11am Breakfast, 11am-8pm Regular Menu (Special Lunch Menu 11am-2pm)

Sat: 10am-2pm Brunch Menu, 2pm-8pm Regular Menu

USC Closure

It's been a month since USC has closed. After closing and emptying the space, it was hard to think about, closing another Honeybird. It was difficult to go through. But instead of despair and focusing on the failure, we chose to look forward, work hard, and find hope, Hope in Him who gives us strength to carry on despite our circumstances and who will bring restoration. We ask and pray for His guidance in all these things. And so as one chapter has closed, we look forward to new changes at La Canada.

Thank you to our Honeybird community, from La Canada to LA, to friends and family, to familiar faces at the restaurants, to first time guests, thank you for journeying with us and enjoying our food.

Update on USC Honeybird

Hello everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be closing our USC Village location. We have been fortunate enough to operate since the inception of the Village but unfortunately, as the years have gone by we have seen less and less business which ultimately has led us to make the difficult decision of closing this location.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank our staff for their tireless efforts and the USC community for their support all these years. Thank you to our family and loved ones around us for all the prayers and for being with us through the highs and lows of Honeybird.

It has been exactly 6 years of USC Honeybird:
Our last official day of service will be March 9th (Saturday) and the first day of opening our doors was March 9, 2018 (friends and family soft opening day).

Come by and say goodbye and have some fried chicken before we leave!
