Halle Berry trained here as a waitress specifically for her role in Monsters Ball? The team (the filmmakers and her agents) were afraid that if she tried to appear as a waitress to close to Hollywood, her start power would shine through. They we’re right: there were customers lined up behind one another to to be served a meal by Halle, who went on to win an Oscar for this very role.
