Have you heard about STOMP? The Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program (STOMP) is a volunteer-based, transfer student organization that can help you achieve your university goals. Many of our volunteers are transfer students, so they can relate with your experience and offer valuable insights. Volunteers play leading roles in our virtual and in-person opportunities, including the annual UCLA STOMP conference.
The student-led 25th Annual STOMP Conference was held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at UCLA where we welcomed nearly 900 guests! The event was held in-person, supplemented with a virtual component consisting of prerecorded presentations for transfer students to learn more about the transfer pathway and the value of a UC education.

The UCLA Academic Advancement Program (AAP) provides an array of academic services that promote academic achievement and excellence through specialized support for first-generation, low-income, and/or historically underrepresented undergraduate students. AAP also offers two academic summer programs β the Freshman Summer Program and the Transfer Summer Program β that prepare incoming students for success in their first year at UCLA by exposing them to the rigor and demands of academic life and to undergraduate programs, services, and learning resources. I love being apart of the Bruin Ambassador Program (BAP) as well as other student organizations on campus such as the Student Alumni Association (SAA), BruinsVote, the Bruin Mental Health Advisory Committee (BMHAC), and the International Urban Sustainability Student Corps (IUSSC).
