Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a FDA approved NON invasive procedure, which takes about 4-5 minutes. ESWT is a great alternative procedure instead of: PRP Injections, Cortisone Injections, Surgeries and Stem Cell Therapy. ESWT can be used to treat plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, tendonitis, arthritis and many other foot and ankle pathologies. ESWT is done in a office setting without any anesthesia and is almost completely pain free.

Not all bunions are treated the same, some bunion deformities require a fusion. This was a BAB (Big Ass Bunion), which required a fusion.
Stem Cell Rejuvenation Therapy can be done in the office for: tendonitis, arthritis, injuries, sprains, strains, or joint pain. The procedure is basically a simple injection with minimal pain.
PRP can also be used in surgery also. PRP was used for this patient for peroneal tendonitis. There are no side effects to PRP as oppose to corticosteroid injections. .
A ganglion cyst is a sac filled with jellylike fluid that originates from a tendon sheath or joint capsule. The lump forms below the surface of the skin usually on the top of the foot or anywhere else in the body. Ganglion cyst can be painless in some cases. The cyst can range from the size of a pea to the size of a golf ball. The ganglion cyst can be aspirated or surgically removed.
Tailor bunion deformity can be painful or can make wearing close toe shoes nearly impossible.
Ankle arthroscopy is a minimal invasive surgery (MIS) for conditions such as: ankle arthritis, ankle joint pain, ligament damage, ligament injury, chronic ankle sprains, joint pain and ankle impingement. This is a 45-60 minute surgery, the patient is able to return back to tennis shoes in about 2-3 weeks.

Endoscopic Plantar Faciotomy (EPF) is a Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) for chronic plantar fasciitis which can be done once all conservative therapy has failed.
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes, which this structure is known as the plantar fascia band.
Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing, numb, dull pain that usually occurs with your first steps in the morning. Plantar fasciitis causes can include: trauma, obesity, certain medications, active people, diabetes, high cholesterol or unknown in some cases.
This is a 10-15 minute surgery which patients are able to walk immediately after surgery. Patients can return back to tennis shoes 2-3 weeks after surgery. EPF has great surgical outcome.
Long toes are usually a congenital deformity which can be painful with shoe gear. There are surgeries to treat this deformity.
Toe cyst are a common problem. The most common type of toe cyst are mucoid cyst or a ganglion cyst. Causes of a cyst include: trauma, irritation, infection, unknown. These cyst can be treated in the office as a out patient procedure. Is always recommended to see a medical professional for all types of cyst.
Fifth metatarsal fractures are a common problem with ankle sprains, sometimes these fractures require surgery.

Lis Franc Joint (Midfoot Joint) dislocation/ fracture is one of the most complicated injuries in the foot. If this injury is not treated properly the patient may end up with a life long debilitating problem. This patient underwent a open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) with a fusion (Arthrodesis).
Foot deformity can be debilitating and can really affect your quality of life. Make sure to already see a double board certified FACFAS to fix your foot and ankle problems.

Glass vs Foot! This patient dropped glass on their foot. Glass is sometimes left in the foot only if: too small, and there is no infection or if not near a vital structure. Always see a board certified podiatrist to confirm.
