Trenton and Patricia, our middle school teachers for this year's Research Experience for Teachers Program (RET), presented their work "Catch That Ball!" today! They spent an extensive five weeks with us to learn coding and image processing. They also developed suitable curriculum for their middle school students using the material they learned in our lab. STEM Spotlight on AME: magic fluids 10/11/2016

October 23, 2014.
We hosted an open house to 370 elementary to high school students to teach them about motion in fluids! The kids played with oobleck (cornstarch + water), learned about high-speed imaging and parametrically-excited fluids. Everyone had a blast!
