We will offer homework help, Khmer cultural classes taught by renowned master teachers, financial literacy classes, and other enriching activities for your children!

Our friends at the The Center for Hope and Healing Inc. are hosting a Back to School event at their location at 15 Hurd Street on Thursday August 29 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
They will be distributing school supplies such as folders, pencils, and notebooks; screening a Youth Mental Health Video to initiate an open dialogue for parents and youth, and offering community resources for attendees to access more information.

This Saturday, August 31 our friends at the LASA Foundation are holding a school supply giveaway while supplies last at the SAI Unity Center at 40 Old Ferry Road in Pawtucketville from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Child must be present to receive supplies.

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Guardianship Workshop, held in collaboration with the Center for Public Representation. The workshop will take place on Saturday, August 24th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at CMAA, located at 465 School Street, Lowell, MA.
This workshop is in a hybrid format, so you can choose to join us in person or virtually via Zoom! To join virtually, simply scan the QR code on the flier on the day of the event.

The Lowell Public Schools' Family Resource Center will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from August 19 through September 4, which is the first day of Kindergarten. Additionally, the center will be open Saturday August 24 and Saturday August 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families are encouraged to visit the FRC during these times for registration and any other urgent matters related to the process.

Calling all girls in grades K-8! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just curious about the sport, the Fall Introduction to Lacrosse Clinic is the perfect opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fun and supportive environment. The clinic welcomes new and returning players to explore the exciting world of lacrosse, with no prior experience required.

Time: 10 AM - 12 PM
Location: Field Hockey Fields at Cawley Memorial Stadium
Registration Fee: NO FEE!
Participants will learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, including stick handling, passing, shooting, and basic game strategies. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to providing personalized instruction, ensuring that each player develops at their own pace while having fun.
For those without equipment, lacrosse sticks will be provided (please note this when signing up via the Google Form so LGL can plan accordingly). Be sure to bring a mouth guard and water bottle.
