How blessed and favored we are Lubbock, to have Mayor Tray Payne call for impromptu prayer at Willie McCool statue this morning, National Day of Prayer! Prayer in unity for our city & country led by Jody Arrington.. in the rain! Praise the Lord!

Tomorrow, May 4th, is National Day of Prayer. A few of us decided last minute to gather by the Willie McCool (84th and Nashville) statute at 8:30 AM to pray for our city, state and country. Come out if you would like to join.

Lubbock, has God cultivated you in the last couple of years? Are you a Sanctuary City? In 2022 did he not bring ACW and other worship/unity movements,home churches, Fields of Faith,10 Days of Prayer, other intercessor movements and new Houses of Prayer?

Did you know there’s a mandate for Lubbock to be the “most prayed for city in America”?

Have you seen the Appeal to Heaven billboards and uptick in concern for our schools?

Some synonyms for cultivate are breed, fertilize, plant, till, plow, prepare, raise, tend, dress, and seed.

It’s interesting that antonyms for cultivate are abandon, destroy, disorganize, ignore, neglect, laze, idle, relax.

We are not finished, Lubbock!

In 2022 God “lowered the mountains and hills, raised up the valleys, and made the rough places smooth”.

He uprooted trees, cleared out the rocks and he seeded us, then he sent us rain!! Let’s keep up the work. We cannot relax, be idle. We cannot abandon the seed. We must be unified. The ravens will NOT steal the seed. We have DOMINION over the land and the HARVEST IS COMING!!

If you take your kids to school, prayer walk the building right after. If you’re able to take work breaks, prayer walk around your work building. If you’re out running errands, do an intentional prayer drive around specific areas of the community.
