On Good Shepherd Sunday, we focused on getting to know, listening for, and following God’s voice as our Good Shepherd! We “herded” sheep, made edible reminders that we are Christ’s sheep, practiced listening for God’s voice among the noise we face in our daily lives, and made posters as reminders of how we can follow the Beatitudes that our Good Shepherd tells us lead to everlasting happiness with Him. Our Sacrament classes are in a period of reflecting on the Sacraments they just received and on how they are called to continue to live a Sacramental Life following the day they first receive the Sacrament! Please continue to pray for our young Church!

What a beautiful morning of Family Faith Formation! Families were reminded about the Resurrection of Christ, what it means for us, and of the responsibility that each of us holds to share the Light of Christ with others! Each family then made a stain glass cross for their homes as a reminder of the beauty of God’s light and of the responsibility to share it everywhere they go through their words and actions! Of course, we ended with a delicious breakfast provided by our wonderful Kinights of Columbus Council 3008!!

We had such a wonderful time this morning at the first Whole Family Faith Formation Breakfast of the 2024 Spring Semester! Families learned that the Church is Holy because Jesus is holy and He began the Church through His Death and Resurrection for us and instilled the Eucharist at the Last Supper. We are reminded that we are all called to holiness and have the means to achieve holiness only through the Grace of God and through participation in the Sacraments. We rely on Christ, on the Church, and on the community that we are called to in order to work toward holiness and build up the Church as One Body of Christ. To remind us of this, families worked together to build up a church and did a great job!
