Happy Earth Day! With more scenes for our Earth Day Celebration last Saturday! We all pitched in to bring happiness and healing energy to Mother Earth.

This morning, celebrate Earth Day with Mundo Esperanza: World Hope at ALNC!

Join Mundo Esperanza from 9am to 1pm for a conscious conversation with local leaders designed to build awareness and create community. With talks on Traditional Environmental Knowledge, the Land Spirit Project, modern practices of prescribed fires, a conservation project in Peru, the connection between Art and the Environment, and more.

Mundo Esperanza welcomes Gabriela Linares Sosa and Aldo Gonzalez, Seed Gaudians from Oaxaca Mexico to our lands.
They are presenting, "Struggles in the defense of the native corn of Oaxaca”
today at UW and meeting with members of the Ho-Chunk and other indigenous nations on issues of sovereignty of food and seeds throughout the week.
We are in gratitude of their experience, wisdom and leadership.
