Several different individuals and families travel around the country with a sob story about their cards not working and needing gas to get home. They offer "gold" or a "Rolex" in exchange for cash. This jewelry is ALWAYS fake. Common places include casinos, store parking lots and gas stations. These people hit Madison several times a year. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY! DO NOT BE THE NEXT VICTIM!
