Introducing Emily, a first year Singer/Dancer from Kiel, WI! A freshman here at UW, Emily is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. From studying to performing, Emily sure does juggle a lot- but what many don't know is that she has a secret talent of, you guessed it....juggling! Introducing Aurora, a first year Wisconsin Singer from Madison, WI! Aurora is a senior at UW majoring in Dance with certificates in Pilates and Athletic Healthcare. Given that she’s a dance major and a Singer/Dancer in the troupe, she is on stage performing a ton! But, when not on stage, you can find her making her amazing cheese and charcuterie boards. Introducing Max, a first year Singer/Dancer, from Plymouth, WI! He is majoring in Secondary Ed and Vocal Performance, and has come to Wisconsin Singers with lots of experience on stage. He even learned how to do flying stunts when he was a part of his high school production of Mary Poppins! Last month, the troupe and staff worked tirelessly for 2.5 weeks to create the newest Wisconsin Singers show in Production Camp! In these rehearsals, we polish the music, cast solos, learn choreography, design lighting and sound, fit costumes, and mount the full production for the year. Introducing Austin, a first year Singer/Dancer from Appleton, WI. Here at UW, Austin is majoring in Music Education as well as Theatre and Drama. Introducing Abby Pritzl, our Wisconsin Singers Executive Producer! Abby works so incredibly hard behind the scenes to make this program possible. She works tirelessly to make sure all aspects of the Wisconsin Singers program are flourishing from the performance, to the business side of things, to the countless relationships Singers builds. Since her time in Singers, Abby has served on the board for Friends of Wisconsin Singers as well as the UW-Madison Department of History! The program would not be what it is without Abby, and to her we owe many thanks!

Introducing Michael Stanek, our Wisconsin Singers Artistic Director and Choreographer! Michael worked with the Singer Dancers and Band to choreograph the show from top to bottom and he makes sure the show looks the very best it can. Michael is yet another Singers alum, and since his time as a performer with the group has made quite the name for himself in the professional performing world! He has toured internationally performing all over the United States and Europe, and has many many more notable accomplishments. We are so incredibly grateful to have Michael with us!

As we begin to ramp up for our next season, we wanted to take a moment to say goodbye to our 56th season troupe. What an adventure it was! From Hayward to Decorah to everything in between, we've loved sharing "Opposites Attract" with our audience. We're so excited to get the ball rolling on season 57! 🤩

Introducing Atzie Sobotik, our Wisconsin Singers Assistant Choreographer! Atzie will be working with the Singer/Dancers to polish and help choreograph as we mount the show this upcoming August. Since her time in Singers, Atzie has filled her time with many different styles of dance, including acrobatics, comedic burlesque, and musical theatre. We are so excited to have Atzie join us this season!

Introducing Jenna Mood, our Wisconsin Singers Instrumental Orchestrator! Jenna writes all the instrumental scores for the show, and this coming August will even be working directly with our band to make the show sound the best it can. A Singers alumna herself, Jenna has continued to work with show choirs nationally since graduation. We are delighted to have Jenna with us!

Introducing Luke Hrovat-Staedter, our Wisconsin Singers Vocal Specialist! Luke is constantly working with the troupe to make sure we sound our best. Another two time UW-Madison graduate, (BM ‘14, MM ‘22), Luke has roots here in Madison and the music world at UW. When not working with Singers, he can be found directing a nearby high school choir, performing solo at local venues, or with his band, The Big Payback . We are so happy to have Luke with us!

Our last stop for the 56th season is the Dane County Fair! This also happens to be the hometown of Singer/Dancer, Libby, and our Synth Player, Milo! Stop by at the Alliant Energy Center - you definitely don’t want to miss this final chance to see this show! We are so thankful for all of those who came out to see the show this past year. Introducing Steve Saari, our Wisconsin Singers Vocal Arranger! Steve is yet another member of our Professional Staff who is a Singers alum! Since his time in Singers and UW-Madison, Steve has gotten degrees from Juilliard and Belmont, and has worked in the music industry globally. Steve is truly gifted and we are so happy to have him with us once again for this upcoming season!

What a great shout out by Brava Magazine! We're so excited to have our final show of the 56th season right here in Madison next Saturday, July 20th at the Dane County Fair. We hope to see you all there!

Introducing Chris Novotny, our Wisconsin Singers Sound Engineer and Treasurer of the Friends of Wisconsin Singers! A two time UW-Alumnus himself (BBA ‘97/MBA ‘11), Chris has been a part of the Singers family since 1993. Since his original years in Singers, he has become a CFO/COO of On-Site Studios, a national virtual video production company. In addition to sound engineering Chris also oversees a large part of the business side of things for the program, for which we are so incredibly thankful!

This Fourth of July we’re celebrating at Neenah CommunityFest! We are thrilled to soak up the sun with you all, and have a blast on stage. We’ll be putting on a show at the Riverside Mainstage for this free event! We’re wrapping up our 56th season, so make sure you come see this show before it’s too late! See you there!

Introducing our Wisconsin Singers Program Coordinator, Kelsey Yudice! Kelsey recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership program at the Bolz Center for Arts Administration. In addition to serving in this role for our team, she also serves her community on the Dane County Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission! We are so thankful for all Kelsey does for us.

Introducing Rachel, a fourth year singer/dancer and one of this year's dance captains! Rachel hails from Watertown, WI, and just recently earned her degree in both Elementary and Special Education. Rachel is sure to always put a smile on your face with her kind heart and infectious laughter! On top of that, she'll blow you away with her impressive vocals and dance moves. The Wisconsin Singers is looking for tenor and bass singer/dancers to join the touring Broadway-caliber student pop performance group. Open to all students — including incoming freshman — the Wisconsin Singers performs across the Midwest and beyond, bringing a shared love of music to each stop along the way.

Introducing Alex, one of our two saxophone players in this year's fantastic live band! Alex is a fourth year instrumentalist from Menomonee Falls, WI, and just earned his degree in Biomedical Engineering. We are so proud of him and all of our recent UW grads! Not only is Alex smart, but he's ultra-talented at rock climbing! We are so grateful for him to take the stage with us, and you only have THREE more opportunities to see him and the rest of the 56th Season of Wisconsin Singers!
