Finally, the time has come that I can re open our doors. I know many of you have been trying to reach us, I will be contacting everyone over the next couple of days to answer all your questions and address all your concerns while we were shut down.

I do ask for your patience over the next couple days as I go about this process. As I am still organizing and unpacking art I may not have immediate answers for everyone today!

It is just me here working once again as my staff did not choose to stay after the closing of the Middleton location.

However I do look forward to getting back to a normal schedule around here. These 16 hour days must soon come to an end. I’m exhausted 🥱

We are getting so close to being able to re open our doors. I believe by Wednesday next week we will be there.

For the time being we have a ton of extra stock that we have no place for. Soooo it’s your lucky day!

We have a ton of free mat board to purge. Instead of going to the garbage dump we would rather someone be able to use our overstock.

Work shop rebuild update:

due to the holiday weekend some of our equipment was not delivered today despite us checking with the delivery company about the holiday, they did not show up. 😭 this does unfortunately put us back quite a bit as I had arranged many people to assist in setting up equipment today.

We will need to extend our re open date by 1 week. Our next target re open date is June 4th

We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working diligently to re open as soon as we can.

As many of you know we had a major water line bust in our store a while back. It was a major loss and set us back in just about all aspects of business.

Over the next 7-10 days we will be getting all of our equipment delivered and our total production shop rebuilt and full functioning in one location again.

Construction of the building took forever. So we set up a production area off site over the last year and half. It will feel so good to have everything in one place again.

I had anticipated staying open while this was being done, however I don’t think that is realistic as I have fallen behind.

With that said we will be closed May 21st - May 27th

We will re open May 28th back to full force and in production catch up mode!

This will cause some delays in production work but I will be working long hours to make it up as quickly as possible.

Thank you everyone for your understanding and we can’t wait to be back to full force.

Update: thankfully I’m starting to feel a little better. But I’m still having a lot of chest congestion. I am going to take the weekend off and we will re open on Tuesday the 14th for our regular business hours. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to give a heads up that we will be closed today. I feel very sick today with extreme cold and flu symptoms. I will re open the shop just as soon as I’m able.

Finally, all of the construction is done from our water supply line busting!!! Wooooo so we can now transition back to just framing and the arts.

This has been such a wild ride and I have had to be creative to continue paying all the bills around here.

During our construction phase in our work shop, I was able to turn our gallery into a full retail shop selling all kinds of random stuff. It got us thru but I am happy to get back to our roots,

With that said we are having a super spring clearance event to purge all other retail stock that has nothing to do with our art goals.

Hello loyal followers!

We have a few updates as things are finally back under way.

1. As of December 1st 2023 we have been re opened our full time hours. So that is wonderful news!

2. We now share our space with another retail liquidation store.

With the economic changes, and custom framing being a luxury item we have seen quite the decrease in orders. We are still a fully operating frame shop. But with our huge space we decide it was needed to branch out into other retail. Follow us on Instagram to see all the cool stuff we get in. We are fully loaded at the moment.

3. If you did not know next door (also connected to us) Eli’s art supplies is here for all your art supply needs. So before shopping big box stop by to see if he has what you need.

4. We also have an artist get together most Saturdays come and paint our indoor graffiti wall hang out, we usually have food, drinks and snacks. (I don’t provide alcoholic beverages however)

It is my goal in 2024 to be more active and more focused on communication and follow up. We had a large water supply line put us out of commission for a long time and that took a huge tole on our overall communication. But we are back.

I also want to thank every single customer who has supported us and continue to support us in all our crazy adventures around here.

We do not yet have our production space back up and running but we are working with Isthmus art and framing at 6771 University ave so we can continue to serve you and all of your framing needs.

Urchin our "random stuff store" inside Megans custom framing is also back up and running and we are in the process of putting out a lot of stuff great for holiday shopping, and we are actually working towards re opening our artist work space wooo so we are offering amazing deals on all the gift items to make way for our artists.

We are now open Tuesday-Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm

A friendly update from your framer.

As many of you know we had a pretty crazy water pipe breaking situation in our production area of the store on East Washington Ave.

While we continue to work with our insurance company and contractors to re build. We are realizing a re build is going to take much longer than anticipated. We had originally thought between 4 and 6 months, however it it now looking a lot longer. Sadly

It is estimated that we had around $180,000 in damage. I can not believe how how much damage water can cause. something that gives life also destroys.

But this situation is not keeping us down. We have our production facility in Middleton and will continue to produce orders their.

If you are looking to frame something with us over the next few weeks we will have open availability in two locations.

2350 East Washington Ave
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 10am to 6pm

Isthmus Art and Framing located at 6771 University ave in Middleton
Tuesday, Thursday 10am to 4pm
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10am to 6pm

Both locations are closed Sunday and Monday so we can work on production and making sure we remain well rested while working crazy hours.

We are aware holiday season is nearly upon us and we will be increasing our working hours early November to allow for more times to shop with us.

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update.

We have experienced a very large water main break within our production facility. This break has forced us to close down for a few days.

We will re open Tuesday august 9th.

We have moved all art within our store to an off site production facility and are working around the clock to finish orders.

We were very fortunate to have very few pieces of art effected. All art is totally safe and we are very happy for that.

We will be in contact with every customer as soon as we are able as we work thru unpacking everything that was transported.

Why you never want to send your signed jersey to one of those online jersey framing places I have seen this many times signed jerseys glued, pinned and ruined. All these mistakes are avoidable had they just taken a little more care and time. But those online places just want your money with minimal work. These mats are not acid free and the frame is MDF with cheap plastic “glass” this jersey is now worthless due to the glue and holes they put in it. don’t risk your jersey take it to a real frame shop who you can hold accountable and who will protect your jersey and make alterations if anything comes loose Preservation over permanent mountings is always better even If alterations are needed later.
