Our annual Go To School Night is this evening from 6-8:30!! We are looking forward to welcoming all of our families and students to West High School.
Please enter the building through our Welcome Center on Ash St. There will be a meet and greet with our Admin and Student Support teams from 6-6:45PM. At 6:50 the bell rings and you and your student can head off to 1st hour! You can view your student's schedule on the Infinite Campus app.

Yesterday, at our first all-staff meeting of the 2024-25 school year, we took a moment to express our gratitude to those who have played a crucial role in our multi-year, comprehensive construction project. Thanks to their dedicated efforts over the past 2.5 years, our facility is now better equipped to serve our students.
A special thanks goes to AP Lori Schacht-DeThorne, who led the project management for West, alongside Findorff Supervisor Justin Plautz and Project Manager Bryce Barnard. Tim Miller, our lead custodian, worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of both our school days and the ongoing construction.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to West AP Katie Medema and Kacey Layton from Findorff for their valuable support throughout the project.
Finally, this achievement would not have been possible without the backing of our Madison community and their support of the 2020 Referenda.
It truly takes a village, and we are deeply grateful for your investment in West High School.

West students and staff participated in the 1st ever MMSD Youth Restorative Justice Leadership Event at the MYArts Youth Art Center in Madison. The event included youth and staff from MMSD high schools as well as some of the middle schools. The day included an intergenerational panel, processing circles, workshops and circle keeper training.
