Jack Nitschke, associate professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at UW-Madison, explores using brain imaging to better understand anxiety and how to treat it. Nitschke introduces the Uncertainty and Anticipation Model of Anxiety (UAMA), and presents data for a range of anxiety disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder in veterans returning from battle.
