The Aesthetics and Politics Study Group meets at 3:30 PM on the first and third Sundays of every month at Rainbow Bookstore Cooperative. Everyone is welcome.
Newcomers are always welcome! We are motivated by a desire to engage with art together, through discussion, and by a commitment to make, enjoy, and critically evaluate art. We think about art through politics. All genres of musical, literary, visual, and performative arts are game, and we define art broadly. Each meeting will have a facilitator, who will lead a discussion of at least one work of art along with readings of manageable lengths.
