That's a lot of summer readers!

There's still time to add your kids' names to our big, colorful constellation and lots of fun prizes for them to choose from just for reading! Just stop in at the Bookmobile to ask how to sign up.

We put up a new book for our Book Stroll at Henry Vilas Zoo today! Take a "wokka-wokka" through the Children's Zoo area and follow along with a fun book by Elizabeth Bluemle!

Don't have a State Parks sticker, but you'd love to visit a Wisconsin State Park?

Dane County Library Service has a limited number of free single day passes to Wisconsin State Parks!

Passes are available one per household and are good for a single vehicle entry to a Wisconsin State Park. We are limiting these to folks ages 16 and up. You must also have a vehicle with Wisconsin plates to use the pass.

We hope you all had an enjoyable Juneteenth!

We are loaded up with SO MANY Cottage Grove holds due to the Wednesday holiday!

They can be picked up this afternoon at Drumlin Residences (107 E Reynolds), 2-2:45 or Granite Ridge School (4500 Buss Rd, in back by the playground), 3:15-4:15.

We'll, of course, hold them until next Wednesday as well.

Just a reminder that the Bookmobile is off the road today for the Juneteenth holiday.

The Dream Bus will fill in for the Bookmobile on the Monday route, but your stars will go up on the Bookmobile ceiling as usual!

Today, we're making our last visit to Taylor Prairie School for a while. Starting next Friday (June 14), our Friday afternoon stop starts summer hours over to Granite Ridge School from 3:15-4:15.
(We'll have our regular Bookmobile then, too. ☺️)

Our first book stroll of the summer is up at Henry Vilas Zoo! Follow the story with Raya the Red Panda and stop to see two REAL Red Pandas, Betty and Bandit, along the way!

We'll have new stories in July and August!

The Bookmobile visits the zoo every Friday through October from 9:30-11.

Dane County Library Service has received a grant award of $4000 from the Green Bay Packers Foundation. The money will be used to enhance thematic programming kits for seniors residing in nursing and assisted living facilities. We are so thankful for this generous award!

Our beloved Wisconsin turns 176 this month!

We got a really cool gift from a friend at Blooming Grove Montessori! Can anyone read it?

Whew! Cottage Grove holds are gonna test our rear suspension today! Looking forward to seeing everybody!

Friday: Dream Bus visits Henry Vilas Zoo, 9:30-11.
No Windsor or Taylor Prairie service.
Holds delivery to Drumlin Residences only.

Dream Bus will cover the Saturday route.

Monday: holds pickup from 2:15-4 at the Heiden Haus at the corner of Harvard Dr. and Columbia Dr in Shorewood Hills.
*Bookmobile at Dane 5:30-7:30.*

Tuesday begins return to regular service.

Whew!

Holds delivery in Waubesa Heights and Brooklyn this evening.

There's light at the end of the tunnel, folks! We expect to pick the bus up Monday evening!
