We wanted to give a special thank you to our friends at Golf Lounge 18 ! They were more than generous to donate their TrackMan set up for our Annual Golf Classic. Their setup allowed for our golfers to measure the ball speed, spin rate, loft, carry, and more off their drive. Our golfers loved this addition, and we are once again so thankful to have had them be apart of this day.

Calling all ball players of all ages! Come out on August 15th for the annual Community scrimmage against Triangle, Inc.'s Championship Softball team, the Bashers!

We welcome players of all ages and abilities. Participation is free or, with the purchase of the VIP package, receive a Triangle, Inc. shirt.

New this year: In addition to pizza served after the game, complimentary slushes will be provided to all players by our friends at INspire Cafe!

Did you know that today marks the 34th anniversary of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), groundbreaking federal legislation to protect the rights of people with disabilities in the United States? In honor of Disability Pride Month and the anniversary of the ADA, we here at Triangle and EPIC thought it would be an excellent opportunity to introduce and interview Ewidji Vincent, a current Boston EPIC Service Warrior, about the ADA, his leadership, and what changes he would like to see for people with disabilities. With 32 years of experience at Triangle under her belt, there are not many people who know the organization better than Christine. She has been on trips, interviewed celebrities like Kevin James, and made countless friends as part of the program. But when you ask her what she likes most about coming to her Malden site every day, she is quick to discuss work. She is an expert at kit assembly and is a leader when working alongside her peers. This has allowed her to build social skills and help lead.

“I love making friends and having fun as part of the job. Triangle is a very special place to me.”

Triangle Abuse Prevention & Safety (TAPS) programs are rolling out new and improved accessible curriculum for navigating social situations! Participants of our Randolph day program worked through some meaningful conversations about the complexity of setting boundaries and improving their social skills for effective communication! We are still extremely excited and honored that Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC) has received a Cummings Foundation Grant! Use the link below to check out an article in the Malden Advocate!

As part of Cummings Foundation’s $30 Million Grant Program, EPIC will receive $75,000 over the next three years to support the young leaders with disabilities in the EPIC Service Warrior Program.

Meet Jacob, the friendly, donut loving, Service Warrior from Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC)! He became a Service Warrior because he wanted to get out of the house, meet new people, and make a difference in his community. He has loved volunteering at the Epiphany Gardens and hopes to work at Eastie Farm at some point in the future! Spending his time helping others and helping his community is what he enjoys most about being an EPIC Service Warrior.

July is Disability Pride Month! This month, Triangle’s Racial Equity Committee (REC) is celebrating everyone who is focused on increasing awareness and empowerment for people with disabilities. The REC’s posts strive to honor intersectionality and highlight people of color with disabilities whose lives cross over multiple identities and issues ALL at the same time. Over the last couple of weeks Triangle, Inc. and Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC) have had some EPIC celebrations! Both of our Service Warrior groups in Boston and Worcester hosted their annual Honoring Young Leaders Events! They congratulated the graduating Service Warriors on their year of dedication, and welcomed the newest cohort of hardworking warriors!

We want to thank Conor and Bryna, our Warrior speakers who did an EPIC job sharing their Warrior experience! As well as a huge thank you to senator Senator Robyn Kennedy and Henry Santana, Boston City Councilor At-Large , for sharing your leadership with the Service Warriors.

Congratulations to Sabryna, the Boston Corre Legacy Award Honoree, Keven, the Worcester Corre Legacy Award Honoree, as well as Neponset River Watershed Association and the Worcester Public Schools - Worcester, MA Transitions Program, as the EPIC Community Leadership Award Honorees.

Lastly, thank you, and congratulations to our 2024 and 2025 EPIC Service Warrior Teams!
