April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Everyone has a role to play in ending sexual assault, harassment, and abuse.

Hello Friends! The Women’s Center is hosting the Clothes Line Project starting next week! This event is so important and we are excited to spread awareness around the violence against women.

Happy women in STEM Wednesday!!! Wangarĩ Muta Maathai was a Kenyan social, environmental and political activist and the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. the Green Belt Movement has planted over 45 million trees across Kenya to combat deforestation, stop soil erosion, and generate income for women and their families. Wangari Maathai was a humanitarian.

It is International Women’s Day! Today we celebrate all women of all different backgrounds, women who pave way for equality, women who inspire us all, and women who use their voice for change.

Every Wednesday this Women’s History Month we will be posting a woman in STEM! Giving women equal opportunities to pursue — and thrive in — STEM careers helps narrow the gender pay gap, enhances women's economic security, ensures a diverse and talented STEM workforce and prevents biases in these fields and the products and services they produce.
