The Deborah L. Coffin Women’s Center at SNHU seeks to advance gender equity and address gender issues on campus and worldwide. The mission of the Deborah L.
Coffin Women’s Center is to advance gender equity by addressing gender issues, developing women’s leadership, and involving and celebrating women who can serve as role models and mentors to challenge, motivate and inspire. The Center will bring students, faculty, staff, and community members together to explore issues, create connections, and promote mutual understanding.
April was a full month, wrapping up the academic year and celebrating our seniors in the DLC Women’s Center! Congratulations to our graduated seniors , & , with special guest Scarla from who has also contributed so much to our mission. We are going to miss you all much!

Wangarĩ Muta Maathai was a Kenyan social, environmental and political activist and the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. the Green Belt Movement has planted over 45 million trees across Kenya to combat deforestation, stop soil erosion, and generate income for women and their families. Wangari Maathai was a humanitarian.
