Making a difference in our community, one child at a time!
KidREACH at MVC is a one-to-one, academic mentoring outreach to struggling elementary school students in our neighborhood and takes place on Thursdays at 3-5 pm from October through May. Learn more at the KidREACH Volunteer Orientation on October 3rd or contact us at [email protected].

Fall is underway, which means, there are many opportunities to connect in genuine faith community. Visit the website and list of events/opportunities to see how you might be able to connect with others in small group, bible study, Sunday worship, children’s ministry, or a pickleball game. 🍂

Ladies Night Out is 'kicking off' the fall with a LADIES ONLY Tailgate Party! We will have indoor lawn games and the first-ever MVC Cheez Whiz art competition! There will be hot dogs and drinks and if possible please bring your favorite tailgate appetizer. We encourage you to wear your favorite team colors and bring a friend or two!

This Sunday, we will worship with Psalms, Hymns, & Spiritual Songs! We are going to sing, as a means of worship, during our normal 10a service. We encourage you to attend, as we meet with our God, and teach one another through singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Col. 3:16).

Historically, we’ve created space for these moments, such as worship nights, throughout the year. However, we value this opportunity to worship together, and we’re looking forward to carving out a special Sunday just for that. This will be a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor. Are you a high schooler? Do you like friendship? Do you like adventure? Do you want to grow in your faith? Then join us at Fort Flagler on the Olympic Peninsula to explore beaches, forests, forts, and (hopefully) bioluminescence. We will depart for our fall camping retreat on Friday, September 27th at 4 pm and return on Sunday, September 29th around 2 pm. Registration is $40, and scholarships are available as needed. Women's Bible Study begins Sept 5th! We meet in the sanctuary from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for fellowship, worship and study time. We invite all ladies to join us, especially if you haven't been in a long time or are brand new. Come check us out, meet other women in a smaller setting. We will be studying the book of Ezra and learning how to incorporate worship and praise even when life feels broken, not what we expected, or just plain challenging.

Last Sunday we saw a video about the Loos family and their work with CRU Music Ministry. What a privilege to support them in providing outreach bands to campuses, prisons, and other locations in the US and around the world. They are also very involved in mentoring the next generation of musicians who will exalt Christ on every stage! Come meet up with other Young Professionals for bingo and a movie in the park at Ten Trails! From 5-8 pm there will be bingo, dinner and snacks available at food trucks on-site. At dusk, they'll play Grease - so make sure you have a chair and blankets to watch the movie in the park!
