North River Church of Christ
We are a non-denominational church filled with members who are committed to a close relationship with God based firmly on the Bible. What an incredible promise!
Over 2000 years ago, Jesus of Nazareth promised that the lives of those who believed in him would flow with rivers of living water. Rivers bring life and vitality to an area. Imagine how dull and dry our landscape would be without creeks and rivers! The driest and harshest areas of the country have been made fertile by capturing and directing the water from rivers that flows through these lands. R
So encouraged by our North River crew with HOPE worldwide! They helped fully stock a brand-new food pantry at Dunleith Elementary School!
It will serve to feed the students, providing uniforms, and meeting almost any needs brought to them. Thank you HOPE for partnering with us to make this possible!
What does is mean to give with a generous heart?
Steve and Max give us a deep dive into how we can actively understand the power of giving when we listen to the Holy Spirit's guidance on staying financial responsible with how we spend it.

Come and see, Jesus spoke through many parables and metaphors but he always had a plan and examples of what he meant.
Tyrone from our sister church in Trinidad and Tobago brings us the word from John and how it is the spiritual book of the Gospels. The Gospels is calling us to know Him and he wants us to grasp a full picture of what a healthy spiritual relationship looks like not only with him but also with the Family of God.
Happy Sunday everyone!!

โGod is constituting a new family. We donโt just share stuff with each other. We share our hearts with each other. I love this is relational, familial stuff. Itโs not institutional, but itโs spiritual. A family! Paul is not just writing to write like he cares about the health of the church. In the church we need to be connected and we need to get reconciled.โ - Jeff Hickman

Our battle is not with each other but with the ones in the spiritual realm of darkness. They seek to trick us into believing that our fight is with each other. But God wants us to show love to each other no matter how hard it is. Let us continue to remember who we are against and that is not humanity. Jesus called us to bring peace and not to harm.
God bless!!
