I look forward to continuing to serve both my clients and my community during these unprecedented times. Stay safe, everyone!
Work-Life Balance in the COVID Era - Marietta Roswell Counseling Our Certified Life and Health Coach discusses the shifts in lifestyle, opportunities and challenges that COVID brought to some of us.
Anxiety and depression can often play tricks on our mind. When we don’t feel safe, emotionally and physically, our minds often feel helpless, hopeless, or possibly seek control in more destructive ways (eg, obsessing about food/weight).
The truth is, individuals have more control than not; you can also seek control when you feel overwhelmed by targeting the inner circle shown above. Put energy, effort, and intention towards the places you have influence, and master those. It’s about how we respond to the stressor, rather than the feelings of stress itself! gratitude

Kids learn to be emotionally intelligent by being treated with respect and kindness.
A child who grows up to be an adult with high emotional intelligence (EQ) will have stronger relationships with others and will be more likely to live up to their highest potential.
Parents can help model this behavior by being fully present and practicing empathy towards their child. The key is to put yourself in your child’s shoes. Empathize and understand before you problem solve or give advice.
Learn more about how to communicate empathy and understanding towards your child when you sign up for Emotion Coaching online. Receive 10% off on the workshop when you use the code EC10SOCIAL: https://bit.ly/3fSRoHO

If so, consider embracing accounts promoting body neutrality, body positivity, body acceptance, intuitive eating, and joyful movement while decreasing attention and focus on unhelpful accounts!

This is a very powerful photo. Mental health doesn't discriminate. It's very important to check in on your loved ones and ask how they are and ask twice.

The Crisis in Youth Su***de Too often, su***de attempts and deaths by su***de, especially among the young, become family secrets that are not investigated and dealt with in ways that might protect others from a similar fate.
The Class of 2000 ‘Could Have Been Anything.’ Until Opioids Hit. The high school yearbook is a staple of American teenage life. But for some, it also is a reminder of failed dreams, lost opportunities and the sheer toll of the opioid crisis.
