Explore the vibrant world of mosaics in our Beginner/Intermediate Mosaics class! Whether you're just starting out or looking to build on your existing skills, this class offers a comprehensive introduction to the art and techniques of mosaic making. Topics covered include: tools & materials, design principles, cutting & shaping, appropriate adhesives & grouting. Some necessary materials and tools will be provided, including a selection of tiles, glass pieces, adhesives, and grouting supplies. Students are also welcome to bring their own materials if they have specific colors or items they wish to incorporate into their projects.

Learn the basics of wheel throwing and hand building in this beginner class. Please bring a pottery kit with a needle tool, sponge, wire cutting tool, trimming tool, and hand towel. An example of the Pottery Tool kit can be found at artplacemarietta.org under 'Supply Lists'.

Release your inner artist while learning to sculpt. We will explore form and function while creating fun and useful clay projects. Hand building is working with clay by hand. Students will learn various techniques including coil, slab, pinch, and sculpture while incorporating their own creativity into projects.
Please bring basic sculpture tools to class.
