And the number is growing as an additional 700,000 new positions will need to be filled in the next 25 years.
Babysitting Safety Training
Saturday, July 16, from 1-5pm
This class provides training for those 11+ years old that provide babysitting and child care services.
Training focuses on:
Business of babysitting
Proper supervision
Basic caregiving skills
Responding properly to ill or injured children and infants.
The cost is $45
Saturday, April 23, from 1–5 pm
Class is limited to 10 participants
Day #4 of Career Camp! Learning about HVAC/R careers. Started on the roof (learning about work environments) and then onto hands-on activities.

We had current Medical Billing and Coding Students, Past Students, current coding employees from our local health care facilities, and community members who wanted to learn more about coding. The Career Center - Adult Tech.
Adult Technical Training at The Career Center was established in July 1972. The school provides short-term training in a hands-on environment for “in-demand” careers in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Program areas include; welding, HVAC, instrumentation & electricity technician, chemical operator, chemical technician, industrial maintenance mechanic, building technology, information technology professional, business office skills, medical billing, medical assistant, surgical technologist, phlebotomy and STNA/Patient Care Tech.
Customized training is also available to local industry. The school visits industrial sites and can provide training on-site at the plant and also offers a mobile training lab that can be brought to the business.
With its quick program times (2-weeks to one-year), professional certifications, experienced instructors, flexible class times and input from local business and industry professional and economical program costs, The Career Center is a great opportunity for those that need fast and affordable training.
