Like I have been saying...there is a problem.....there has been a problem for a long time. This didn't just happen over a couple of years. This is not trivial saddnes, I didn't get a car for my birthday. This is a deeper issue.

Teen Girls Report Record Levels of Sadness, C.D.C. Finds Adolescent girls reported high rates of sadness, suicidal thoughts and sexual violence, as did teenagers who identified as gay or bisexual.

In other words when we compare our lives with someone else and we feel envious because of what they have. what we really are saying is God what you have for me is not good enough I want what they have. The thing is you may not want the trials they had to go through to get to where they are. God creates a purpose for each person that is uniquely tailored to that person and their experiences. What you bring to the table is important too.

Sin is like mud, it can cover you until your unrecognizable, but God knows who He created you to be. Don't let guilt and shame keep you hiding, covered in past bad decisions. God has a reset button for this life.

Some of us have a lot of damaged roots in our family tree. Remember THeir broken roots don't determine YOUR final outcome, YOUR choices do. God has a victory plan for those who follow Him.

Innate Eating Support Group

This is a discussion support group with the purpose of discussing concepts of innate eating and supporting each other in learning to eat by the body's natural cues. Topics around principles of Intuitive Eating (Resch & Tribole), mindful eating, and Eating Competence (Satter) will be included. You are absolutely welcome to eat & drink during the meeting – simply mute your microphone if you are eating & not speaking. 😉 Participants under 18 years of age are welcome to join in with signed consent from a parent or guardian.

How many times have you prayed to be stronger but I challenge you to find where in The Bible it says you should be stronger, tough, independent, able to carry everything. A Bible that was written by the world will tell you all the things you should be so there is no need for God, but the bible teaches that we are to depend on our Holy Father in all things , at all times because we are weak and therefore its His pleasure to be the provider, healer and strength for us.

We may be attached or even addicted to the Internet and to social media for various reasons. Many of us can’t put our phones down because we are absorbed with being known. We care too much about what people think of us. We are consumed with whether people notice us, so our lives are dominated by this quest. We check our status updates for comments, we watch the “likes” add up on our photos, and we wait for interactions. This is very hard work. You have to select the right picture to share, craft the perfect tweet, and edit your status to your liking. Our quest for others’ approval is symptomatic of a deeper problem....And even when we do get the attention from others that we think we need so desperately, at the end of the day we still feel restless and empty. No relationship is going to give us what our hearts desire 100 percent of the time. We want to be known. That’s OK. In fact, we were made with that desire. The problem is that we often search for significance in the wrong places. This becomes more and more obvious in the midst of our trials.

The truth of the resurrection gives us real hope. If you can’t kneel and you can’t dance and you can’t run, in the resurrection you will dance perfectly. If you are lonely, in the resurrection you will have perfect love. If your heart is empty, in the resurrection you will be thoroughly filled. If you are depressed, in the resurrection your joy will be complete. Christian, if you are facing grave illness or even death, the resurrection gives you hope that in the moment you die, you will be with Christ.
Your hope is not grounded in your circumstances but in Jesus. No one can take away your joy. The joy that comes through Christ because of the resurrection is a forever joy.

To many Christ followers live like God is without mercy, powerless and He will put us out on the curb to live as orphans if we disobey. Time to reevaluate your family status. Remember He adopted you, and you are a part of His forever family. This is a place where grace and mercy are found. If you choose disobedience, consequences follow, but not rejection. His patience doesn't run out on you. God created this world and has power and authority over it.
