Among his feature film credits, Bob appeared in a scene with Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, with James Caviezel in Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius, and in Simpatico with Jeff Bridges and Sharon Stone. Other film credits include Death Sentence starring Kevin Bacon and Kelly Preston, and Bob also worked with director Michael Mann on The Insider, starring Russell Crowe and Al Pacino. Before that he was on "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" as neighbor Tom Willis with Sherman Hemsley and Marla Gibbs from "The Jeffersons". Bob was an Army psychiatrist on the Lifetime Network series "Army Wives". In 1985, he landed a recurring role on The Nashville Network's "I-40 Paradise". In addition, Bob has been a familiar face on many regional and national commercials, including an ad for Miller Genuine Draft lensed by Ridley Scott. Being an expert on ear prompter and teleprompter also kept Bob busy as a corporate spokesperson. Performing for military audiences onstage in "Letters From The Front" on three national tours with former wife Della Cole was a highlight of his career. Moved to Atlanta, where he has had a long career as a professional actor and co- owner/acting instructor at yourACT Acting Studios as well as owner/instructor at Atlanta Actors Complete Training, LLC. He is a Personal Coach and Group Facilitator for his own venture, Advanced Creative Techniques, which uses simple question and answer processes combined with an exploration of the individual’s inner world to “Discover My Dream” and guide you in HOW to achieve that core goal. This is done either one-on-one, in a small group evening workshop, or as a weekend exploration for up to 200 people. In addition he has 4-day retreats planned to exciting destinations within driving distance as well as exotic locales around the globe. Now Bob is the owner and Creative Director of Marietta’s New Theatre in the Square together with Executive Director Raul Thomas. The 2016 Season is an eclectic mix of traditional and experimental theatre, concerts, comedy, film & video screenings, and there is now a studio backstage that can be used for tapings of all kinds. The Grand Opening is the World’s Most Decorated Play by the military, Letters From The Front, which co-starred Bob in the original production touring military bases worldwide beginning in 1992. The current production with an all-new cast is the 25th Year Legacy Tour, and runs November 4th through December 6th.
