Congratulations to our first volunteer of the month, Edward Sudduth-Allen! Edward is a Troop Support Volunteer for Brownie/Junior Troop 4830 in Arnold.
Here’s what his Troop Leader had to say about his awesome service to Girl Scouts: “Eddie is a great Girl Scout dad! He helps with whatever we need and is very involved with the troop. The girls enjoy being around him and he has helped ease their fears while at camp. He helps bring the “fun dad” style to our troop. If the troop ever has a need, Eddie steps up and lends a helping hand. All troops need more dads to be involved like Eddie is.”

We believe that girls who travel the world become the women who change it. Travel is an opportunity for them to experience a new way of life, gain confidence and develop a sense of independence before graduating.
In the summer of 2024, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will adventure to Belize on an exciting 7-day tour where we will zip line through lush jungles, snorkel in the crystal-clear Caribbean and learn about the diverse ecosystems and wildlife as well as the ancient Mayan ruins throughout the country.
In the following summer of 2025, we will travel across the pond on a 9-day tour to England, Ireland and Wales. We will experience the history and beauty of the castles, cathedrals, coastlines, countrysides and major cities of the British Isles.
It is not too late to join us on these exciting opportunities – in fact, it is the perfect time! All you need to enroll is your $95 deposit that goes towards the total cost of the trip. You will then be prompted to choose a payment plan that works best for your family. Don’t want to start paying right away? No worries! EF has many options for payment plans as you can see on the Help Center page here. Once you enroll, you are locked into the price, and it will not become any more expensive – you will save money if you don’t wait!

From rising membership numbers to introducing holistic new and innovative programs, Girl Scouts remains committed to being an essential, relevant, and irrefutable force in the lives of eastern Missouri girls.

Junior Troop 3568 recently collected 144 boxes of kid-friendly bandages for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as part of their Take Action Project to complete their Agent of Change Journey. The Girl Scouts also decorated 115 rocks that will be hidden around the St. Jude campus for patients and their families to find during their stay. We are so proud of you, Troop 3568!

Oh what fun! Cadette Troop 1791 recently spread some holiday cheer to Breeze Park - A Lutheran Senior Services Community residents. The Girl Scouts and their adult volunteers built homes with them, made holiday cards and provided Treats & Reads chocolates for the holiday house contest winner.

Top Treats & Reads Project Thank You sellers enjoyed participating in the annual USO Missouri Holiday Block Leave event early this morning! Thanks to our Girl Scouts and community, nuts and candies were donated to the USO of Missouri and Operation Food Search during the 2023 Treats & Reads season for distribution at this event and throughout the winter.
